I was born, raised and educated in Philadelphia and spent thirty
years as a technician in various offices around the country for the
Bell System. Throughout my travels, people would invariably remark
about my uncanny resemblance to Sean Connery. Of course, I bore a
likeness to a much younger version then.
I Developed My Skill
After retiring at age 53
from Bell, I wanted to remain active and have fun developing my impersonation of Sean Connery. This led to a job as a valet with
a great deal of people contact and many opportunities to practice.
As an avid runner for over thirty years including some thirty-seven
marathons, I found that running for cars merely provided a
great way to stay in shape while sharpening my celebrity
impression.
I Decided to Go
Professional
My
valet job eventually led to a position as doorman for a large
Scottsdale hotel.
Greeting some 80,000 visitors over a period of two years, I was
constantly reminded by guests that not only did I look like Sir Sean
but sounded like him, complete with his mannerisms. I practiced a
lot and honed my portrayal to a point where people simply did not
believe that I wasn't Sir Sean.
in late 2006,
I became convinced that I could be successful in
a new career as a professional
tribute artist .
Tribute to Sir Sean Connery
Entertaining is a natural thing for me.
I love to delight
my audiences. with Sean's movie lines, Scottish Brogue and mannerism to mirror
his persona as people know and remember him..
My study of all that is Sean Connery has helped me develop
what is perhaps
the most accurate impersonation of Sean Connery yet accomplished.
My fans have validated my work with their enthusiasm and
refusal to believe that I am not Sir Sean. For me, that
is the greatest reward.
I look forward to meeting you in the near future.
